Netsite helps promote Welsh attraction
Netsite is celebrating the launch of a new website it has created to help promote a Welsh recreational facility for mountain bikers and walkers.
Netsite won the contract to design and build www.coedllandegla.com for owner UPM Tilhill who wanted the site to become its main marketing tool.
The company needed a site that would attract visitors to come and use the picturesque mountain bike and walking trails in Coed Llandegla Forest with a system that would enable the UPM Tilhill marketing team to update the site quickly and easily themselves.
Head of Marketing for UPM Tilhill Ruth Roy said: " We wanted a trouble-free transition from an existing site and needed a content management system with a new, modern design. We chose Netsite because they could offer an all-in-one service that included the re-design, a content management system, hosting and the domain name transfer."
Netsite was able to provide an easy-to-use content management system that now means UPM Tilhill staff can make changes with minimal instruction. Netsite also improved the photo gallery that allows the 100,000 people who visit Coed Llandegla every year to upload their images on to the website.
Ruth added: "We were really pleased with the customer service and the project management and the website was completed on time and on budget. Overall, the effort the Netsite team made to ensure the site looked and felt right, far exceeded my expectations."
Netsite offers a range of services from bespoke website design through to content managed e-recruitment systems. The company was established 12 years ago and has clients including the NHS, Charity Commission, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, Crewsaver and The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
Coed Llandegla Forest covers 650 hectares and was planted in 1972/73. It is owned and managed by UPM Tilhill - the UK market leader in forestry and timber harvesting. It provides services to owners of over 200,000 hectares of woodland, and manages 22,000 hectares in Wales alone. The forest has mountain biking trails suitable for beginners and family groups; more challenging routes for experienced bikers; and a choice of picturesque walking trails.
