The history of LA Recruitment
LA Recruitment Ltd are a privately owned company, formed in 1983, to provide recruitment services to Aberdeen Companies including the oil and gas industry.
Since its formation in 1983 LA Recruitment has grown considerably and now source permanent, contract and temporary candidates for our clients in areas such as engineering, management, commercial, administration and port functions. Our client base now covers companies in the UK, Norway, Middle East, Far East, Australia to name but a few.
In 2002, three of the senior staff members undertook a management buy out. Jacquie, Alistair and Mhairi have between them over 50 years of recruitment experience within the oil and gas industry and are therefore able to offer an informed approach to companies’ recruitment needs.
In April 2007, based on our success within the overseas market we opened an office in Doha, Qatar. Jacquie Philip, our Managing Director now runs the Qatar office with her team of recruitment staff. Later in 2007 we also opened a further office in Malaysia.
Our business is complex but our mission is simple. We seek to give our clients a unique competitive advantage by handling their recruitment in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner. Our service is backed up by our QA system certified by DNV which we have had in place since 1993 and our inclusion in First Point Assessment Limited.
We take great pride in our capacity to find the right people with the right skills at the right time. In summary, we are a recruitment service that gets results.
